Three exhibitions will be taking place during the period of "The Style of the Tsar":

• Bert Theis - Building philosophy
  15 June 2009 - 28 February 2010, curated by Stefano Pezzato.
  Bert Theis explores the public space as a social context and meeting place by means of relational modes which place his work at the crossroads between the spheres of culture and of everyday life. His reference point is always the environment of the city streets or neighbourhoods, or else the makeshift structures of popular activism which see individuals as actively participating.
  
• Lena Liv - Hekhalot
  24 September 2009 - 10 January 2010, curated by Marco Bazzini.
  In collaboration with the Tel Aviv Museum of Art the Pecci Centre will be organizing an exhibition of the Russian-Israeli artist Lena Liv, now resident in Italy. This is a large solo show entitled Hekhalot, which is the name of the mystical paradise reached only after a lengthy period of purification, meditation and ecstatic prayer. As the work of Lena Liv, which speaks of a spirit linking us to this far away paradise solely by the tenuous thread of memory.
  
• After Utopia - A view on Brazilian contemporary art
  24 October 2009 - February 2010
  A project of the International Institute for Studies of Futurism, curated by Atto Belloli with the assistance of Ginevra Bria.
  This show explores a particular aspect of the Brazilian art scene, selecting as a model those concepts and artists that have made art the ground of exchange and modes of interrelationship. Contemporary Brazilian art is at present developing an aesthetic process struggling for success, for freedom, for its earthly representation and the building of a new society based on justice and the equality of ideas.

• Experiment with Galileo - starting 3 October 2009
  The new interactive workshop will enable the visitor to "travel" by bicycle in the Solar System, measure how the weight changes on the various planets, make an imagined trip to the centre of the Earth, observe every detail of meteorites under the microscope and see the effects of their passage through the atmosphere. These and other simple experiences will give you a pleasurable trip in the world of the planetary sciences.
