On occasion of the exhibition “The Style of the Tsar” Prato Textile Museum Shop has been renovated both as to fittings and to products.

The new gadgets, resulting from the collaboration with the textile manufacturers of the district and the creative talent of young artists and designers, are remarkable for originality, craftsmanship and the close bond with the territory and its productive vocation. Collaboration with a number of local craftsmen has resulted in the creation – exclusive to this exhibition – of a series of products (jewellery, souvenirs, objects for children etc.) on the theme of textiles. Another novelty is “Museo del Tessuto – Selezione”, a new line in food products based on the best wine and food products of the territory, such as honey, vin santo, biscuits, Barco Reale di Carmignano wine, etc.).

The Museum will also be producing a new line in postcards of the city and its principal monuments, in addition to an exclusive and limited series of high definition photographic prints of monuments of industrial archaeology, embellished by special packaging in typical Prato fabric.

The offers also a vast selection of specialized publications on the history of fabrics, fashion, customs and local history, in both Italian and English.
